Grant
Private Chef – Private ChefGrant completed apprenticeships at the Grosvenor Hotel Chester, which included a stint in the 1 star Simon Radley Restaurant. He has since then worked at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen on their amazing training scheme which helps young people train to become Chefs and gain great qualifications.
Grant really enjoys sport and nutrition which has lead him to work in Premier League Football, for a top club as a Performance Chef, cooking for elite athletes and looking after their nutritional needs. This has included travelling throughout the UK & Europe to help them prepare for games. During this period Grant was part of a Champions League winning team. Grant currently holds a position at Fraiche restaurant which has a Michelin star and a Sourdough Bakery.
The bakery section is where Grant has learned to perfect his bread making skills and he has really enjoyed this. Grant says he loves being a Chef because it’s so creative and it’s rewarding making someone happy through your cooking. He loves using the freshest and best ingredients and cooking to the seasons. Grants cooking is simplistic and all about freshness.
